Treasurer Office
Duties
- To collect all revenue for the County
- To disburse collections to the proper political subdivisions
- To bill and collect all real estate, personal and drainage taxes in the County
- To issue motor vehicle titles
- To register and collect sales tax on all motor vehicles with tax situs in the County
- To issue boat registrations
- To accept payment and print driver licenses, CDL licenses, learners permits, ID cards and school permits
- To administer the Public Tax Sale every March and issue private and county tax sales on unpaid taxes
